Happy Belated birthday Lar!

 

                                                                         

May 6th, 1954

I was on my honeymoon all week and was not able to sneak and get Lar anything for his birthday.  So I will do a blog for him.  His favorite thing to do is fish so I put this picture up of his fish he caught in Canada (one of many fish he caught).

laris a patient and kind husband.  He loves the outdoors and loves to do anything with me as long as we are together.  I am lucky to find such a person, who can put up with my forgetfulness and foggy head.   And who took me to the landing in Branson to watch the water/light/fire fountain water show.  I had a blast on my honeymoon.   Just wished we would have taken our fishing poles.

We are going to have fun this year!  When it gets warmer we will get some big fish.  I hope Ian catches the biggest.  I will first though.  Lar cannot catch fish!  He thinks he can….but he can’t.

We will have a fun summer.  lar has learned to master his new boat.  He is a good Skipper.

He has always owned a boat, just not a bass boat.

We had fun today…….

Lar

Today I am marrying my best friend, the one I laugh with as we find new enjoyments together.

The one I live for because the world seems brighter and happier now and our burdens seem much lighter together.

The one I love with every fiber of my soul. We used to feel incomplete in the past with hurt hearts in the end, now today we are whole.

I feel we are two halves of the same soul joining together in life’s journey.

We have two witnesses here today and we thank them for being there for us in the past when no one else was and for being here today to witness our new life together

But Lar I will also be your witness!

We need a witness to our lives. There’s a billion people on the planet… I mean, what does any one life really mean? But in a marriage, you’re promising to care about everything. The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things… all of it, all of the time, every day. You’re saying ‘Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go un-witnessed because I will be your witness’.” I hope you will be my witness too.
